Platinum Jubilee Events at Page Park

Jubilee event at Page Park brings Staple Hill together for a fabulous day out.

Hundreds of people came down to Page Park to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee last Saturday. The Friends of page park put on the large event with a full range of stalls, activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Entertainment on the bandstand included the Kris Nock Big band, Steel appeal and the, always fun, Rock Choir.

Vintage cream teas were enjoyed at the Bean Tree Café where there was also a fancy dress competition.

Local stall holders included the We Are Staple Hill team letting people know all about the website and group promoting Staple Hill shopping district. Along with bubbles and cake!
